Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s ‘inappropriate’ move ‘widen’ King Charles rift

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s move to address speculation surrounding King Charles’ birthday invitation just hours before his first historic speech at the State Opening of Parliament.

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told Mail that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s rift proved to be much ‘wider’ as the couple paid no heed to how ‘inappropriate’ their actions were.

“When he opened Parliament today, King Charles paid tribute to the late Queen. It was a historic occasion, the first time a king had opened Parliament since 1950,” Fitzwilliams said.

“The very same day, with particularly inappropriate timing, the Sussexes are back in the news.”

“The rift in the royal family could not be wider and bemused courtiers must be wondering what comes next.

“Let us hope that the reported four-book deal with Random House does not lead to another memoir.”

For the unversed, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex had revealed that the monarch did not invite them to his birthday celebrations, just hours prior a historic moment.

The couple had refuted claims made by Sunday Times which stated that the Duke of Sussex denied his father’s invitation for his birthday next week.

On November 14, King Charles will mark 75th birthday in the attendance of close family and friends.
